I think GM’s find really huge trades like this more interesting, and Wilson would bite. Ohlund will waive his no trade contract because he likes Nonis and will want to repay the Canucks for all the fun he had here.

Next we gotta get rid of Morrison. The guy hasn’t been the same since Big Bert left, and he was never really a #1 centerman anyway. 3.2 million is too much! We will trade him to New Jersey, because they need offensive help, and they will send us Gionta, because we need offensive help. Win-win! It’ll look something like…

Ohlund is a Swedish guy so I think he will like Vancouver because we have lots of Swedes to talk to and hang out with and crap, and San Jose needs a centerman to play behind Thornton so they will be all over Kesler!

Then we sign and trade Linden along with Ritchie and Isbister to Buffalo for Matt Cooke. They need leadership there with their captains gone and Cooke will be a good fast forecheck for us, especially since we have no Kesler anymore.

Then I think we’re set. Maybe we can get Morrison from Devils to round out our offense. Good BC boy and he will come cheap, coming off bad injuries.
